Ealing Labour councillor Joins Conservatives

REPORT FROM: sikh sangat.com

After two decades of hard work sadly Gurcharan had to defect due to the prejudice and discrimination he and others faced from the Labour Party in Southall which is run by ex communists and bhamans, who have no morales or cares for the hard work of this Sikh Gentlemen - Gurcharan Singh.

Along with Gurcharan other party members have also defected to Conservative, this is a good sign, and Labour practically asked for this, they as someone has said have shot themselves in the foot. They will no face the wrath of the Sikhs, for their total disregard for them,I along with fellow constituents give my full support to Gurcharan in the steps he and his colleagues have taken.

These Bhamans always mess things up and as you can see here Sharma the hidden shadow all along came and took the MP selection, while people like Sardar Gurcharan Singh, who have worked their guts out for the community for two decades get pushed aside,Gurcharan single handedly imporved Southall for the better while he was mayor and Councilor,eg:new pavements, lighting, new bins, wheelchair friendly pavements, benches, more Policing, representation of Sikhs on the Govt scale, and other hard work.

I appeal to voters to give Labour, this Bhaman Sharma, and those Ex Communists who are bad mouthing Gurcharan, a clear and loud message 'you do not have support from Southall's Sikh Community, and we will oppose you, even if it means putting up independents.
We will dent your majority as much as we can, where ever we can,'

Gurcharan joined the Labour Party in 1976, becoming a councillor in 1982. He is actively involved in Sikh politics and has a strong base in the largest Sikh Gurdwara, Sri Guru Singh Sabha, in Southall.

Singh, who started as a British Rail guard, moved on to become a tax officer. By 1986, he had his own hotel in London.

Gurcharan Singh was the Mayor of Ealing in 2003.
